Record Label Artist Control

Record labels are losing control of a lot of artist today. Artist today are feeling the independent spirit. Record labels have created the 360 deals to combat the lost of record sales. The 360 deal allows the record company to get a percentage of the artist other endorsement royalties. Artist control diminishes when you signed with a record label. In today's music business, many artist are striving for Independence due to the record companies new business called a 360. Artist from the major label to the independent labels are trying to be more in control of the own actions so they can reap the benefits of the money that's being made with their music business career.
